Immersion Enameling and Cold Connection – Debora Mauser

Come learn a wide variety of skills all in one week! First we will learn the immersion method of enameling, often referred to as Painting with Fire. We will combine that with various cold connection treatmenst and metal shapes formed with a hydraulic press. Students will enamel beads, flat pieces and formed pieces. You class fee includes one tank of map gas, use of all enamel and enhancements, all copper and brass needed to complete projects, beads, ear wires and leather. Teacher will have metal, enamel, extras for sell as well. Please bring your own hand tools, round nose pliers, metal cutting shears, flat file, saw frame if you have it.

Mostly self-taught, Debora has been creating jewelry for over ten years, and teaching nationally for the past four. While wire is her first love, Debora’s work is far removed from the traditional square wrap that many people are familiar with. She incorporates stones, enamel and metal in a very contemporary fashion that makes her work unique. Debora’s classes are fun, stress free and packed with useful knowledge.
